We took a trip down to Destin, FL several months back. There are a handful of cool shops I like to check out, so I made my rounds and found this Old Spice mug for $5 and snatched it up. It's in great shape, a little faded. All of the markings indicate Early Glass Mug 02, from around 1949-50, give or take a year. Key markings are the closed script "O" and "S" in Old Spice and the three ribs inside the mug. I haven't used it yet, but haven't had a cake of soap to put in it. Also, I'm terrified of breaking it. (Great resource for these - http://www.oldspicecollectibles.com/Mugs/American Glass.html) In those photos you see snippets of this Treet SE. I'm blessed - this is another in a long run of razors I've inherited from grandparents & great-grandparents. From what I've found on this forum, it probably dates from 1948 or later. One of the blade stops is broken off but it shaves great, with care. And, spotted in the wild in Destin, is what appears to be a Stahly Live Blade, or a knockoff thereof. I handled it but didn't wind it because I wasn't interested in buying and didn't want to risk any damage. I don't recall the price, sorry gents. For all I know, it's still there!
