John for some reason your links don't work, so I will put them here for our members to see:

    Omega 11137

    Omega 10005

Sorry I cannot help answer the question, I haven't used either brush.

I don't have a Semogue, so I can't say how they compare to the Omega for performance. I'm just wondering if size is an issue are the other Omegas you are looking at still too big? I have a couple of Omegas Boars and love them (49 & 11137). I asked a question similar to this some time ago and was referred to a great post by Zach which compared some of these brushes. I'll see if I can find it.
Thanks for fixing the links Bill.

    John,
I found the thread but I'm not computer savy enough to paste it in here (sorry). You go to Forums, then Shaving, then The Brush. Its a thread called "Semogue 2000 vs Omega Pro". Dated around 7/09. It describes the differences in performance and has some pictures showing size comparisons. A great job by Zach.

The Omega pro is completely different in size, the 10005/80005/30005 has a loft of 22mmx55mm.

Heres a photo of the Omega *10005/80005/30005* vs my Pro.

    John,
Hope the info above helped. You can see now why we like this place. I didn't have answers but others did and pitched in. Thanks Bill for the Link and thanks Aaron for the picture. It clearly shows the difference. I can see I may need to get one of those Beechwood 1005s myself. It looks like just the size I've been looking for in an Omega. I already have that white Pro (and the Coors Light).

    Thanks again,

    Thanks everyone for the info!

What is the loft on your 49? Mine is 60mm, although I've seen it listed somewhere as 55mm!
