I just tried an Omega and I also love these brushes. I have been using a Tweezerman and its good for the money but after comparing it to the Omega I love it less. I see now that my Tweezerman is very scrubby and a real lather hog. The Omega is silkier with just the right amount of flop. Luxury is the right term.
Well, I bit the bullet! I'm just going to tell SWMBO that it's my Christmas present. I can't wait to see how big it is compared to the Colonel!
Good on you, keep it on the low..... I was comparing the two, handle height isn't anything crazy, but the knot side by side makes the Colonel look puny do to the taller loft... Word of advice, this brush works probably like nothing you're used to, you'll probably have to readjust technique but its worth it, it makes everything else feel ordinary.
It's here! It's here! SWMBO: A box came in the mail for you today. Me: What hon? SWMBO: What's in the box? Me: Oh that's my Christmas present from you! SWMBO: Let me guess a brush, razor, soap or something to do with shaving. Me: Yes, (opening the box) Isn't it beautiful? SWMBO: Yeah, is it to use or just look at? Me: To use of course! SWMBO: Well, give it to me to wrap it up! Me: OK, thank you! Now I have to wait until Christmas! Well, from what I here it will be worth the wait.
Darn she gotcha, but look at it on the bright side, at least she liked it you don't have to worry about the hording just yet.....
