I might have. At least it looks awfully similar. It is a decent brush, but kinda scratchy. I never notice that under the shave, though. I seldom use it since I prefer my other brushes, but that might just be placebo talking. But at that price, I would probably look elsewhere.
For the money go take a look at Whipped Dog. Larry over there has some great deals. I am very happy with mine.
WD silvertips plus black badger are to the "soft" side Can not compare them with Omega or EJ,other brand's silvertips and of course black badgers are more tough with better backbone. My only problem with Pure badger knots as Omega is their base knot,it's 22-22mm and now i want 24mm at least.
It's quite a bit cheaper at Italian Barber though http://www.italianbarber.com/omega-63167-100-pure-badger-shaving-brush Edit - sorry, I just noticed it was out of stock, but Italian Barber has a good Omega selection of models.
That's what I like about WD, Larry will set the knot as deep as you want to get more backbone. Mine is a 30mm deep set down from a standard 55mm to 45mm. I like the compromise, but if you want more backbone Larry has other knots.
