    alpla444 That's sweet!

80% + of my shaves this year have beenn with an Omega brush this year (one brush I replaced the knot with an Omega boar)
P1040401(1).JPG As you can see left to right Rubberset reknot (27mm Omega boar) then the Pro 49, and last is the 10275 which is a 21mm knot I think.
Once the pig smell goes they have been great for me

I have two Omega brushes, the 49 and 10098 PRO. Both are excellent brushes.
To be honest, there really isn't much bad press going around about Omega brushes at all. Most folks seem rather pleased and, like me, would not hesitate to buy another.

I have Semogue 1438 (beautiful painted handle, but not very comfortable grip) and huge Omega 49. Semogue did not smell from the beginning (just a tiny bit), but Omega was smelling pretty bad. I recommend soaking the loft in water and changing water every hour or so for a few hours. The funky smell went away in a few days. I am waiting for a smaller Omega 10290 and a boar Muhle. My only brush was a Muhle and it served well for 22 year. Time to retire. :)
