Just shaved with some Proraso (first time) with my Mach 3 (waiting on a de in the mail). Best shave of my life. Masters Bay Rum to end it. Face feels healthier now that before I shaved. A first. Smells dang good too.
I did the same thing while waiting for my DE to arrive. Try multiple passes and work on your technique. Pay more attention and map your hair growth. It'll help.
I've been whipping up my proraso for my brother to practice making lather. He loves it, and ive been giving him tips like, re applying lather before a second pass. I think ill get him an little DE setup for his birthday in april. Do you have the green proraso? Love feeling the cooling of the menthol, especially on the second, and third pass.
I've never tried the Proraso stuff, just the CO Bigelow cream. I am a menthol fan too, its so fresh and tingly.
I think I'll pick some Co Bigelow up when my Proraso gets low. I hearBigelow uses Proraso's old formula? Saw it at Bath and Body Works at the mall the other day.
Howdy! I like Proraso and Bigelow creams. I like warm lather so I put a dab of the cream in a warmed up scuttle along with 2-3 drops of glycerin and lather with my brush previously soaked in hot water. It is a little time consuming; however, to me it is worth it for that great close shave! Always, Gene
If you can find CO Bigelow cheaper I say go for it. If not, it's the same product in a different tube.
From what I can tell the Proraso Green (which is the one I have) and the C.O. Bigelow are very similar, but the menthol in the latter is Much stronger. Like a lot stronger.
I haven't tried Proraso, so I can't comment on it. But I have C.O.Bigelow in my rotation, and to me, it isn't too strong. The first time I used it, I loved it!
Oh I love it too! I can't wait until that hot bama heat starts to bear down. The menthol will save the day I am sure of it.
