Hello all, I'm going to be travelling next week to Medford, OR and the Portland, OR/Vancouver, WA area and was wondering if there were any good shops to check out. I'm looking for new, vintage, specially soaps...pretty much anything shaving related. Your help is appreciated.

They'll let you tour the place and lure you with all kinds of goodies. Consider it a challenge to your ability to withstand temptation....
I do have one and it's an excellent intro to kamisoris, it is a western grind. It's a any easy razor to shave with.
I visited Portland Razor Co today, they opened the shop especially for me, they are normally closed on weekends. Very nice people, I got a tour of the facility and an explanation of the entire process from start to finish. Here's some pictures of their place. I could not resist making a small purchase (I'll post pictures of what's in the box when I get home). It was a fun visit and if your ever in Portland I highly recommend stopping in for a tour

I'm going to drive up there one of these days. They are only about 45 minutes away from me. Might drop in on Zaffiro as well and see what they are up to since their last Kickstarter went bust.
Hey, Roby, I live in Medford (suburb 7 mi.). The only store with anything worth looking at is Trader Joe`s, otherwise might as well skip Medford. Next stop would be Eugene. I have to order most everything on line. our Mall is worthless to the male gender. Good luck hunting., Bill
