Nothing is salvageable with that razor.
Yep, look at the rust on the backdrop paper just from photographing it.
Beauty! $185 may seem a steep price (no doubt!) but I foresee a time when most of these razors will have rotted away and the survivors will demand an even ‘healthier’ asking price.
At least the seller realizes it isn't in "good condition"...
My Otto Deutsch's Hans Solingen 6/8th Arrived Today from the USA...Its a Huge Blade for a 6/8th...More Like an 8/8th From the Top of the Spine to the Edge..She is an NOS Factory Fresh Beauty...Looks as if it was Made this Morning...Now to get Her on the Hones..
It's no wonder they command such high prices, when they're in good shape they are a thing to behold! Great score Billyfergie!
Looks like Popeye got a shave from it.
Guys...Aye..Not Shaved for Days...
Beautiful razor Billy!
Good to see you Brian!
LOL! Some people have really got 'em. "...blade needs to be replaced." It appears that the rot has even affected his tape measure!
I wouldn't take it if it was given to me as a gift; let alone purchase it.
That's a beauty, Billie! I thought it was an 8/8 blade and then I read your comment. I never heard of Otto Deutsch razors. Wishing you many years of shaving enjoyment!
