Pacific Shaving line of creams etc.

Has anyone used the Pacific Shaving Co. shave creams and aftershaves? What did you think about them?

 

I have the cream, it works good. Has a ok post shave feel.

 

@Jayaruh has used some of them as I've noticed in his posts.

 

I tried the AS balm couple years ago. Slightly minty.

 

Will you buy it again?

 

Would you say it’s as good as other stuff in it’s price range?

 

fantastic cream.i have the caffeinated one ..spearmint like, solid performer..easy to build a slick creamy lather..great post shave feel..i have a back up, worth the money imo..

 

Nope I found I prefer alcohol based splashes over creamy balms. Didn't try the soap.

Did you get any kind of noticeable kick from the caffeine?

 

not really, a little cooling skin tightening effect, but doubtful if its caffeine related.just a decent cheap ,modern ,readily available shave cream..probably good for travel due to tube size as well .never tried..if i am in a rush i get a great lather in seconds..of course there are others that achieve this also..just an honest take on it..

Yes it is as good as other creams in that price range.

 

I drink half a pot of coffee most every day so a little topical application wasn't noticeable.

 

I view the caffeine as a marketing gimmick, no real kick to it.

I've tried both the Caffeinated and the Natural. Both are good creams at a good price, even if unexciting, good enough that I'd buy more of them. But I'm not all that into creams, being more of a soap man.
