Palmolive being discontinued...good alternatives?

Palmolive was discontinued as you guys already knew, what are good alternatives?

 

Which Palmolive cream are you referring to?

 

If the Palmolive Classic cream would be discontinued, the German forum(s) would be all over it. I think this is just like the rumours around the stick last year.

 

Sure hope not cuz I love the Mentholated version.

 

How about Cremo Cooling Shave? When I finish my Noxema, I may buy a Cremo just to compare. I like the looks of it.

Proraso, cella, acqua di parma, razorock, arko, fume, klar, martin de candre, penhaligons, taylor of old bond street, DR Harris, geo f trumper, the blades grim, art of shaving, tabac, "the shave den", stirling soaps, mama bear soaps, route 66, new york shaving company, mickey lee soapworks, xpec, soap commander, la taja, Mitchell's wool fat, institut karite, acca kappa, crabtree and evelyn, edwin jagger, kent, musgo real, henry cavendish, castle forbes, kiss my face, eshave, kiehls, nancy boy, and speick.

These are just the top soaps that rolled out of my head on the spot. There are definitely more good/great ones to be had.

Those are all very great soaps. Copy/paste, look them up, and get to work trying what works best for you. YMMV. Different ones work for different people, but the list above is a great one that will please darn near anyone. Some are creams, some soaps, some croaps. Prices/value of soaps will vary. I recommend getting samples or joining a soap passaround...it will save you bigtime.

there goes any remote chance of Rapid Shave returning.

 

Was in my local Tesco over the weekend and there were loads of tubes. If this is true I'm heading there again tomorrow and buying all of them.

 

I will bet you all the Palmolive soaps in my den that this is another urban myth.

Yes, but apparently it really is discontinued now. I cant find it where i live...and im in a major metropolitan area

 

From what I have read around the interwebz.... It's not discontinued, but the FDA has an issue with one of the ingredients making the importation and availability an issue.

 

I'm curious as well. If it's been discontinued, shops here in EU sure has large stock-piling

 

Not sure about shipping, but I believe both can still be found online. The Palmolive sticks are great and it may be a good idea to pick up a few.
