As we all know, Palmolive is known world-wide for its shaving creams and other products. The European version of Palmolive comes in a green tube, unlike its American counterpart, and has a very pleasant scent, with rich, creamy lather, and works very well on a sensitive skin type. Pricewise, it's somewhat more expensive than the American version, but still quite reasonable. Jeff
This is a cream every wetshaver should have in their rotation. The smell is somewhat like a freshly squashed Lime with cucumbers mashed thru it so think Citrus family. It has Palm Extract in it not sure what benefit we would get from it but I guess thats where the name Palmolive came from then . Try it you wont have much to loose but much to gain............
A classic, classy shaving cream, as good as the mainstream consumer-creams get. Can't go wrong with the European Palmolive
I feel terrible that every time I need it, I have to trouble my friends in Europe to send it to me, because I enjoy it so much. Jeff
cheap and good for variation Decent stuff, easily available for me and I tend to use it once every blue moon.
A very decent cream, protection and skincare is top-notch. The scent when you lather up is very nice.. But I can smell an after-scent that I dont really like.. If they could clean up the scent it would be a Winner all the way!
Great Cream I found the Euro-Palmolive to be very noticeably better than the US version, in terms not only of scent, but also with regard to the quality of the ingredients and the lather produced. This cream yields a very slick, shiny lather that is a joy to shave with and always gets me through a shave with its commensurate level of cushion. I even find the lather to improve through the shave, so that when it comes time for a last pass its almost like an "ultra-lather". It seems to somehow feed or mutate while it sits in a bowl. Finally - you won't find any harmful chemicals in this one - there's an excellent selection of beard conditioners, lubricants, and moisturizers in this one.
One of my favorites for sure! I have yet to find a cream that is easier to generate a rich lather with, and that is more protective/lubricative. It is pricy and hard to find, but it is definitely worth stocking up on if you can find some imo.
One of the mainstays in my shaving rotation. Nice scent, lathers nicely, lubricates well.. simply can't go wrong with it.
