hi all i have bought a couple of these shave sticks to get me started i really have no comparison but i cant believe how good these are for the money i paid 50 pence!!! so my question is about storage once you get it out the box it is wrapped in a kind of tin foil do you save the box? try to save the foil and re wrap it every time? or do you just let it stand naked? im sure i am over thinking this massively its a 50p shave stick but i was just wondering
    thanks Nathan.

    alpla444 That's sweet!

For me I just leave it as it is, and it just sits there on the shelf.
I don't know if that's the best thing to do, but its what I do and it has worked great so far.

If the stick is used everyday, I don't think a container is necessary. Having said that, in the past.....

    containers were common.

I grated mine in to a bowl and lather it there, it loads the brush quicker, and since i don't face lather stick form is a bit unpractical for me. And btw, love the Palmolive best bang for buck anywhere

If you don't travel with your shaving stick there's no real need for a protective container. Having it sit around your shave den is good enough - and it takes quite a long time for it (even exposed to air) to lose its scent, will probably mellow out though.

Any thoughts on the stick compared to the cream? I once had the cream, but found the lather quite "poor" compared to most other creams. But OMG I loved the scent, so if the stick's better I'll be getting me some of that :)

This is one of my favorite soaps. The lather, scent, and skincare are all excellent for me.

You can grate it up and put it in a bowl that can be sealed / capped. More than one way to use and store it. Today's shave.

stick is great a bit hard so face rubbing is not as easy as arko , great lather and works nicely in a bowl

I grate mine in a bowl as well, but I need a little bigger bowl cuz my bowl makes it a bit hard to lather =P I think it will last a long time without the foil or package.

Even the palmolive stick costs a lot more in sweden :angry017: approximately 3-6 dollars or 2 pounds

I've never had succes with face lathering, so no matter a soaps form, it ends its days in a bowl here :)

Other options to the West Coast Shave containers are Pharmacy bottles or round push-up deodorant holders.

The Palmolive stick is one of the easiest soaps to use. I have kept it in stick form and face lather.

The same here, I just rub it all over my face and neck and I lather it up with my brush. It works great that way.
