Persona's U.S operations bought out, won't be closing.

I wrote my first article for Sharpologist!

I tried to sort out all the confusion and rumors that surround the various Personna blades, including the rumors that the U.S. factory will be closing. It won't. Lab Blues and Med Preps will continue to be produced by the same employees, at the same place, on the same equipment, but under new ownership.

My personal preference is for the blades from the Israel plant, but it's good news that there will be USA made blades around for the foreseeable future. American Personna blades disappearing could even have caused a kind of shock effect internationally

Informative article. It was very interesting to read that all israeli Personna blades are more or less the same.
I would not have guessed that based on experience. But perhaps coating plays a larger part than I thought. The same goes for the placebo effect, I guess.

Nice article. Just shows the power of perception. I swear by Vikings Sword with Crystal's and Q-Ball's a close second, but both for me, better than either Tomy or Royal. but apparently they are all basically the same.

 

Well, but the coatings can make a big difference. I definitely prefer Teflon coated blades.

 

Indeed the coating makes a difference. Platinum coated blades for me.
