img url sharable link https://goo.gl/photos/Jzwe4aSC64MiWp8X8 https://goo.gl/photos/Jzwe4aSC64MiWp8X8 I'm baffled.
I tried linking in multiple ways. The one you are seeing is a simple url from my google + pictures which is how I always do it. Gremlins I expect!
That makes two of us Kerry. Maybe I'll migrate over to photo bucket and see if that makes a difference.
I've gone in and reviewed settings on google+ and can't see anything that's changed. I'm digitally confused.
Sigh... I used to routinely post links to Google photos, but I cannot make it work anymore, and I have simply given up. When I post photos now, I use the upload function in Tapatalk on my phone or the photo upload on the forum page. The photos are guaranteed to be visible and they are archived. I miss the goo.gl metrics that I used to watch, seeing a world map identifying where views were coming from. The sharable link to a Google photo is a link to a page that shows the photo, not a link to the jpeg file. I used to grab the bare photo link out of the browser and shared that link in my posts. That does not work anymore. I have to assume that Google has chosen to block raw links to photos for reasons that make sense to them, perhaps for access control. If you find a way, I would be very happy to hear about.
