Two nearly identical PIFs for a couple of SE razors. This is meant for members who have never used one but would like to try. These are my second and third PIFs on TSD, and will be the last for quite a while. I've also been making a couple on B&B. Come January, I think, I'll have a couple of items for sale, but nothing extraordinary, just shave-worthy, not particularly rare vintage razors for which I have duplicates. The PIFs are helping me to find any bugs in my shipping routine, while hopefully doing a good deed.

Conditions for the PIF first. This is open to TSD members who:

    • Have not won another of my PIFs, here or elsewhere. You may enter for more than one of these, but only win one.
    • Have a shipping address in the continental US.
    • Are at least 18 years old. Probably should have made that a requirement of my last PIF, but it didn't occur to me.
    • Have been a member for at least two months, and have at least 30 reasonably substantive posts in these forums. I'd just like to make sure this goes to somebody who considers himself or herself part of our community here.
    • Does not have a working single edge safety razor that uses this kind of single edge blade. If you have an injector or a Bic disposable, that's fine.

Please post below indicating your interest. I will check back in the early evening, say around 5:00 or 6:00 PM, each day starting Saturday the 20th. If there are no responses, I'll put it off again to the next day. If there's one, then that person gets the razor. If more than one, I'll use random.org to pick a winner.

I'm giving these away rather than selling them mostly because I got them very, very, cheaply. Very. On top of that, they have cosmetic blemishes and I don't think it's appropriate to charge for them here. If I wanted money, I'd sell them on eBay. They are mechanically fine. I've shaved with each of them and then cleaned them up. I just have specimens in much nicer condition.

This PIF is for an Ever-Ready 1924. Slightly aggressive compared to models like the 1912 and G-Bar, but it's not a monster. Just treat it with respect and you'll be fine. It's got a bit of plating loss, and I paid next to nothing for it, but it's a good shaver.

I'd love to be a part of this one. I've never used a SE before.

And Ocharlas wins the Ever-Ready! Yes, joined October 3rd, close enough. Congratulations. PM on the way shortly.
