Okay, won a fantastic PIF earlier this month : http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/why-is-all-the-rum-gone.43612/ So the goods arrived in the mail today, the shave follows: Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum; this is a soft soap which mashed down easily in the bottom of the mug aka wal mart soup cup. I used my Semogue 1305 and went to work on the puck with a damp brush. This soap provides a nice, rich protective lather, however, it takes some effort and a little more water than I'm used to. Of course I'm used to lathering soaps like Arko & Cells, which begin to lather as soon as they see a brush. The scent is nice, however it could (imo) be stronger. All this being said I'd recommend this soap, as my face felt very smooth and moisturized post shave. Thanks to joelio for a great pif and shave!
