I will send a small wooden box handmade by me to the first person to post a picture of themselves with their water craft. I estimate it would hold 500 razor blades. The details of the box are 8"x11"x4" made from teak with tru-oil finish. I made several of these boxes a few years ago and have one I don't use. This box was made from left over wood from the Dory I built. I can email a picture not sure how to post it myself
I wish I had a watercraft! Maybe it just depends on how strictly you are defining it! I think I have some cardboard boxes in the basement...
Watercraft...meaning, boat? IF ONLY I WAS AT THE LAKEHOUSE THIS WEEKEND! Good luck folks. I would definitely be down for this as my blades are thrown into a ziplock
Well, strictly speaking, it was a rental (rented it for 10 days in the BVI) - Vacation heaven. But it was MINE for those 10 days (I am on the right) And a zoomed out view. Actually, I grew up on a salmon troller in southeast Alaska, but those pictures are all on film (not digitized.. yet..)
Nice PIF! Go back to your post, click edit, then click the little paperclip at the top of the box. You will be presented with an option to browse your computer for a picture. Double click the picture once you have found it, and click upload in the box, as long as the file is not too big, it will upload. Then close the browse box and click submit. Or, you could email it to me and I will post for you.... jeffreystryker@gmail.com
Thanks Jeff- I tried about 5 ways, and it just didn't want to show the pic. Now I know to use the paperclip. -Joe
Thanks for posting the picture Jeff. Looks like the box will be travelling to excaliber5 in Alaska Only seemed fair to send boat wood to a fellow boat lover.
Sweet! Actually saving for the next boat (Gemini 105 sailboat) - currently about 15% there. Dang--anything that floats, flys or goes fast sure is expensive. The boat I pictured was sold shortly after we rented it from Moorings, even about 5 years old, it still commanded an asking price of $350K. Hard to imagine who can afford such an expensive toy.
nice box . teak wood is gorgeous, Danish I believe. i'm 1/2 Danish and my folks have some nice Teak wood furniture at their place. very nice PIF.
