Can anyone tell me. For a beginner living in India, which blade is the best
    1. Gillette wilkinson sword.
    2. Gillette supermax
    3. Gillette 7 o clock super platinum
    4. Laser

Some blades work better for some people than others, so this is a very hard question to answer. I suggest that you get a sample of each to see which one you like best.

Rahul, it's really difficult to say what blade would work best for you. I would suggest you buy a sampler pack, this way you can try a few different blades, and get a feel for your liking.

    How strange...

I always though Wilkinson Sword was a Schick (Energizer) brand in some countries (UK) Schicks are sold as Wilkinson

I wonder if those Gillette Wilkinson blades are knock offs

There is really no such thing as "beginner" or "advanced" blades. You just have to try different ones to see what works. Also, as you refine your technique, you may want to revisit blades that you weren't nuts about, early on. You may still hate them, but sometimes they surprise you. And there is no objective "best blade" for everyone.

Sage advice from the elders here. Buy a sample pack. Since you live in India I will assume you can buy blades locally. If so buy a a pack each of a few different brands. P.S. Do not shave unless you are fully alert. I know firsthand that the results will be terrible. ;) Feel free to ask me about it sometime.

Yes very true. I find that I prefer a Wilkinson Sword Razor Blade over say a Shark Razor Blade

Another piece of advice......Remember the 30 day rule. By that You pick a new Razor Blade (That you have never used) Use it and it only for 30 days. Then if you are not satisfied with it then change to another brand. JMHO

It is what is best for you. I have had good shaves with most blades in my EJ.

Blades tend to be a YMMV (your mileage may vary) sort of thing, so what works best for me may not work for you. I would suggest trying a few different brands and going with what feels best to you.

Whatever works best or in this case, which one of those blades will give you the best shave. Try a few shaves with each. Which one feels best.

    Welcome!

I recommend buying one pack of each blade. Try each blade type to see which ones work best for you. Any blades that do not work well can be PIFed to someone else. It is creating your own blade sampler by buying individual packs.

My personal preference is Astra Super Stainless. All platinum blades seem to irritate my face.
