I have been straight razor shaving for awhile now with whipped dog poor man's strop and it's fine and all but I would like something a bit nicer with leather handles and with a 3" wide leather and canvas strops. What would you recommend?
    Thanks.

I agree with the suggestion of Adam's (DryGulch) work Website click here!
Another fine choice are the quality strops made by Tony Miller Website Click here

I have strops from both and you can't go wrong with either.

Im not sure of your price range, but Tony Miller and drygulch are great suggestions. I would look into those two and see what you like the best.

I have a couple of Adam's strops, one from Tony Miller and I would also recommend Straight Razor Place.

PS: Just a hint Adam can customise your strop plus he will answer all your questions regarding strops, leather and linen.

I would love to have a kanayama, but I cannot reason with paying $300+ dollars for a strop

$300 for top if the line. You can get a kanayama for around $120. It just won't be the three strop with leather carrybag variety. Still an awesome strop.

I did some looking around, reading others reviews and comparing prices and really could not make up my mind. Then I went to the British isles store here in Houston. Among all the soaps, brushes and DE razors I found a 3" wides strop with the leather handles and Latigo and linen strops. The price and quality were great so it's hanging on the wall in the bathroom. The linen really brings out that last little bit of sharpness. It's good to see what you guys have been talking about.
    Thanks!
