I usually follow my shave with Lucky Tiger followed by AS splash. Occasionally I use Witch Hazel instead of the Lucky Tiger.
First I use an aftershave called Tendskin and then after a few minutes when that has dried, I will apply a balm such as Nivea sensitive or Trumpers skin food. I apply it to my whole face so I don't like to use a balm that is too greasy, if it is it eventually gets into my eyes.
Nivea...first, the cooling, then sensitive, and now the moisturizing balm. Not sure what I'll try after that.
I can't truthfully reply to the question because I've used both, though not together. I'd say aftershave 95% of the time, but once in a blue moon I'll use my Rise A.S. Cooling Balm following Rise Super Foam.
Dominello Vitali Calming Post Shave Moisturizer followed by the After Shave of the day. This morning it was Speick for Men...
I finish off with witch hazel and then an after shave. I have found that the relatively new Aqua Velva Sensitive 5 in 1 After Shave Balm works really well with my skin.
I use WH and then a balm. Lately though I’ve been only using the WH. I try different stuff depending on how my face feels. I also use Clubman every once in a while
