You know, I just read the description, and this statement is a little half-baked, I believe: "HAS SEEN VERY LIGHT, LIMITED USE". How on earth would the seller know how much use a 55 year old razor has had unless he is the original owner?
Do you mean people exaggerate and sometimes even bend the truth in their ebay-listings? How sneaky of them!
'Nother very good example of ridiculous optimism is a blade bank I saw recently on a Swedish auction site... starting @ $80! I mailed the seller and asked how he had concluded that price, and provided a few links to ended auctions where the winning bids were less than a tenth of his price, and the reply I got was "It's old"...
