I originally purchased this strop with the intention of using it with CrO paste. It is leather only (no linen), nicely finished, with an excellent draw. The width makes it easy to use with only a slight X pattern needed. I have been using mine for some time with the leather thong and I dont see any need for additional hardware. I would heartily recommend this strop to a beginner (who may nick his strop), or a more experienced user who wants a good quality strop for travel or for pastes. The purchase from TSD store was, as always, perfect. ________
