Another one Boar in the family: Proraso Here it is out of the box Weight : 65grams and Loft: 57mm I am on the re-handle work and soon i will post the photos As is even unbroken looks great !
Oh really? I am anxious to test it. I don't like the shining chrome effect on the handles As we talking now the knot has been removed Unfortunately i didn't manage to save the plastic collar.
My dad and brother use it and love them. I bought as a gift for them back when I lived in Italy. For me it's just too big
The process almost finished, the knot is drying and tomorrow i will make the first test I use a handle from a LJ brush which i didn't like the Finest badger knot. Unfortunately 6-7 bristles escaped to freedom when a small mistake happened in the lathe of my friend We didn't manage to save the black collar as i wanted.
Recently purchased this boar brush from Proraso. It's a little stiff but I'm sure it'll soften up after a week or so of use. However I am having trouble lathering. I might be removing more water from the brush than I should, but I really have no idea. When I want to reapply lather for my second and third passes, the brush seems pretty dry. I have to wet it again and load up with soap. I think this is not normal. I've only used it a couple of times by the way. How wet should the brush be when building lather? I soak the brush while having my shower. I then give the brush a few shakes and a gentle squeeze before bowl lathering. I use enough product for sure. Am I doing something wrong?
