I can't wait to get my hands on some of that :). I'm pretty sure none of the European sellers will ship splashes to the US but I guess it'll just be a matter of waiting until some US vendors have it.

I've ordered aftershave from Gifts and Care before with no problem. I get my Myrsol from them, because it's half the price of anywhere in the States even with shipping from Spain. Just have to be a little patient.

Hmmm, haven't heard about anyone receiving the Proraso Red Aftershave yet. Anyone try it yet?

I've been using it for about two weeks now. I do the whole sandalwood thing twice a week. Proraso Red Cream and Red AS. It smells really good, just a little too much vanilla, but not overwhelming. Also doesn't have too much of an alcohol sting. I definitely recommend it.

Thank you for letting us know. Does the scent match the Red Cream?

It does match the cream, just a little bit more intense.

So Santa brought me some Proraso Sandalwood Aftershave. I do like it and it does pair well with the cream, I kinda wish that it smelled more like the cream though. To add to the review 'Spiez' left I'd say vanilla and baby powdery. It's not as earthy as the cream.

I like it & I'll use it, I just don't know if I'll replenish it...

I have had it for a few months now. I noticed it initially goes on with a musk scent, which quickly fades and leaves a faint sandalwood scent.

I've been using this intermittently for a month or two now. I think that simms hit the nail on the head in that it doesn't smell exactly like the cream being that it's not as earthy, but the scent is somewhat similar after it dries down. Mbg is also 100% right in that it starts out as a musk and then leaves the behind the characteristic Proraso sandalwood scent. In the bottle, the smell vaguely reminds me of a typical aftershave like Aqua Velva.

Whenever I use this aftershave, I go all out with the red lineup - red pre-shave, red cream, and red aftershave. In order to really help with the longevity, I use a little red pre-shave after applying the splash. It works out perfectly because I always need some sort of moisturizer after shaving and the red pre-shave does the job perfectly all while complementing the scent of the red splash.

I literally just finished my bottle yesterday (yay NB'17!)...

It's a good aftershave, not my favorite. Can't really fault it in any way per se, but it doesn't wow me nearly as much as Proraso Green. I really like Red cream and will always keep a Red & Green tube in my collection but probably won't buy another bottle of Red AS.
