1) take a wet brush and rub it on the puck to load the brush, then make the lather in another mug or. 2) just have the puck in the mug and take the wet brush and make the lather in the mug with the puck. Hoping my question makes sense.
Either way works. It's whatever is good for you. 3rd option... load the brush in the mug (or on the puck directly) and build the lather on your face.
As Sara-s says you really need to experiment for yourself with all the various lathering methods and see which one works best for your face... It's the only way to "REALLY" know what you like and what works best for you...While your in the experimenting mode, you can try out different types of soaps(puck, stick, crope, cream) also...
I soak my brush in a small bowl of hot water for a minute then build in the soap container, and lather on my face. I found I don't need to wet the puck beforehand. The wet brush is plenty for me. For creams, I soak the brush in the bowl of hot water, pour the water out of the bowl, then squeeze the cream in the bowl, build in the bowl, and lather on my face.
