I have a box of cheap square clocks in the attic (long story). My favorite kitchen clock gave out so I swapped the movement from one of the square ones and was left with the frame, basically a shallow shadowbox. Daughter and I were going to the craft store anyway to get stuff for her project so I picked up a sheet of linen textured scrapbook paper (looks much nicer in person than crappy pic) and some hammer-in sawtooth picture hangers. Pictured is the result. The clock was originally $5. The paper was $1. The sawtooths maybe $2. 10 minutes of work; swapping the movement to the other clock took longer. The empty spot is due to the sawtooths coming in a five pack...I'm reserving the 6th spot for when I re-obatain a Schick E. And I may do another one. Now I just need to rig a hanging wire on the back and pick a spot on the bathroom wall.
