For those of you who are fortunate enough to be allowed to display all of your razors and other goodies at the sink, you definitely have an advantage over me. Of course, my problem may be more a matter of logistics.
I remember after visiting the dentist as a kid he had a drawer where you could go dig through and pick out a toy or some stickers. This is so much better than that.:rofl
Notice the box of band aids sitting prominently right on top. Maybe I won't be sticking my hand in there with out a butcher's glove on.

Hi Bill and Simon! Welcome to America Simon. I've been out of the loop but I thought Simon from Scotland seemed familiar. And thanks Bill for the Shave Den heads up. (I also want to say hi to everyone else some familiar names some new to me.) Now to get back on topic. They were getting rid of a beautiful solid oak document cabinet (from 1953) at work. It's about the same size as a file cabinet however with only one file drawer at the bottom. The rest of the drawers consist of twelve 1.5" deep and three 3" deep drawers for laying documents flat. Guess who had their eye on it for his straight razors? So dreams can come true. And for free! Sorry Gerstner. Yes I'll be posting pics. Eventually. John
Welcome to The Shave Den John! Can't wait to see the pics of your cabinet. I know what type of cabinet you are talking about, and I bet it is perfect for storing straights.
Apology... I have to apologize. My first pic wasn't really a true representative image of my storage for a few of my razors. I forgot to pull the drawer out all the way...
I recognize that Tuckmar razor coffin there. Good to see You're getting some use out of that. I get use out of thatrazor you fixed up for me at least twice a week.
