Does anyone have any experience with this? Was wondering how and if they work?

Thinking of ordering one for my headblade and sensor razors. I'm also trying the gillette fusion proglide power razor and that would be a big savings on cartridges if it works. Kind of makes sense, but alot of things do and don't work out so well. There is a few variations of this on eBay but they all are more of a cleaner than a sharpener, which also makes sense as the blades are so thin.
Anyways if anyone has any experience with doing this let me know what you think.
    Thanks, Jim

Ok heres the truth at least as I see it. First inorder to sharpen any blade you have to be able to access both sides of the edge PERIOD. All this thing is doing on one edge is stropping it on one side. It seems to work because as you shave the edge tends to distort upwards. This thing just realigns it. Does it work? YES. Do you want to do the same thing for no money? Perform the same action(you don't need any shave cream) on your arm or use a pair of jeans. There is info and I think videos on it. Google arm stropping a cartrige razor. Same thing your doing without spending your money on a gimick device IMO. At the end of my cartrige days i was looking to extend the life of the carts. By arm stropping(5-10 times) before each shave I could use a cart a month or more. It didn't make it more comfortable or smoother, but it did keep it sharp for a while.
Question: Why not just go DE, SE, Injector or even SR? You can still strop the blades if you really want to(CAREFULLY),you have alot more blade choices with DE and best of all they are so inexpensive you have no need to do anything but change them. And IMO you'll get a MUCH better shave. :) Just my 2 cents.

It can't sharpen the blades because you can't get to both sides of the blades. Basically your stropping one side of the blade helping to straighten it out a little. Check out you tube for other ways to do this without dropping any cash. Blue jeans, your forearm, even your leather belt will do the same thing. Mantic also did a video review of the razor pit.

Just palm strop the head and see if it does the same.

Mythbusters tested one and said it actually made the razor duller.

    Here's Mantic's take on it:

Thanks everyone for your help. I guess I'll just strop using my arm or a wash rag and see how that goes.
