i have a lucite brush I am restoring as a gift for a friend. His favorite color is purple, so I was going to change the inside color (around the knot hole) to purple instead of the black. One I get it completely clear by polishing it, I plan on putting a layer of colored epoxy in It before installing the knot. I've read in places that you can use powdered paint pigment to alter the color of epoxy. Has anyone done this? Do you have pictures of the results? Thanks!
