No idea where to post this but i wanted to share. I showed my dad the razor I was using a couple of months ago, he recalled that he had one a long time ago but had moved on to disposables. We talked about shaving for a few minutes then the conversations shifted like it does and we moved on. A couple of weeks later, I find out that my dad had got himself a Merkur 34c and a brush. I was amazed to find this out, but also a little taken aback because he said he was still using the canned shaving cream. I considered breaking into the house and stealing the cream, but he has too many guns, so, for his birthday, I got him a tub of ToBS Eton College and a tube of Bigelow. So now me, my stepson and my dad are all converted to DE shaving.
Very cool. I'm going to be handing out some beginner kits to my Brothers and Fathers this year. My Father in law and I have always compared shaving tips, where to get cheap cart or disposables and the like. Maybe I can get him into it, he's an old timey kinda dude.
