Researching Gillette 3 hole blades

    New here of course, just doing some research on old Gillette 3 hole blades. Shavers currently hanging in my bathroom on the counter are a Edwin Jagger DE89 and a Merkur 23C Long Handle, currently using Astra or Derby blades.

    All of the research I’ve done on Gillette three hole blades showed that they all had three holes. Hope that helps. ;)

    Welcome, @cobb. The three hole blades served Gillette well until their patent ran out in the mid 20s.

    I can see that they may snap easily, they appear to be thicker than any other blades.
