Since the discontinuation of the Williams shaving stick this is the only commercial shaving soap in South Africa. Read on!

Ease of lathering: 10/10--Needs a little blooming but still lathers very easily!

Longevity of lather: 10/10--Great stability so no problems doing multi-passes.

General skincare: 8.5/10--Very comfy post-shave care. Moisturizes really well also.

Scent: 8/10--Smells clean and very pleasant.

Price: N/A--I have no idea because I traded with a gentleman from Master Shave in South Africa.

Would I buy again: 10/10--Most definitely. I think this soap is terrific.

This soap is produced by the Reitzer pharmaceutical company and is very popular among the wetshaving community in South Africa. It's glycerine-based and I was surprised because it contains olive oil which usually prevents a soap from lathering well but this soap lathers great. Bloom it for five minutes, wet your brush and you'll be good to go. It also contains tea tree oil to disinfect your skin and make it feel soothed and smooth!

It costs approximately 54 rand, so under 3 dollars
