Ease of lathering 10 Life span of lather 10 Moisturizing 10 Lubrication 10 How protective? 10 Scent 5 Price 9 Would you buy again? 10 Average 93% What a phenomenal shave cream this is. Lathers easily, and is VERY protective and moisturising, to the extent that I can dispense with an after shave completely. The scent is the only weak point, but not terribly so. All in all a fantastic product. Highly recommended!!
I got a tube as a welcome gift to shaving and I have to say that I agree with your assesment :happy088
ya it is funny, when i compared the ease of lather and the quality of shave i got a better shave from this than i did from TOBS. however the scent from TOBS was incredible. +1 for TBS shave cream. have a 3/4 tube and a full tub at home that i am slowly working though, and trying to add some menthol to.
Have and use both the old and new version. The older version smells a bit better and the newer shaves better I think. Both are phenomenal budget creams and are available locally for those that live in or near most cities. I'm a big fan of The Body Shop cream.
I've got a tube of the Maca Root Shave Cream few weeks back but I am somewhat not getting very good quality lather from it. Most of the time, I find the lather produced is rather thin and not offering very good cushioning. The worst was one I had 5 days ago. My razor was skipping all the way through the first 2 passes. Had to abort and applied my Tabac Shaving Stick to complete the shave. Seeing that so many people love the lather it produced, maybe the opening of the tube is smaller than my other tubes which cause me not to use enough of the cream to produce quality lather. PS...used double the length of cream I normally squeeze out from the tube this morning. And yup, This time, 've got a lot of rich lather, in fact, I got so much lather left over that it's enough for a second shave. So it seems I need to compensate by squeezing a longer length of cream for the smaller hole of the tube when using this cream.
