Purchased this Rolls Imperial razor, a bargain at £9.00. Do you think it will need honing & stropping before I use it, please see photo
Ouch. From what little I see, I think you paid too much. Blade is trash. Strop is trash. No hone that I can see. Perhaps the case is nicer. But, on the bright side, the original instructions are worth the £9.00. Did you buy this "Sight Unseen"?
Sorry, I was only joking, I saw the razor on ebay while I was looking for other razors, & yes it was £9.00 I could not believe someone thinks they are going to sell it. there's loads of them on ebay between £5.00 & £10.00 in much better condition. I own two, one boxed & one in a leather faux crocodile case (See Photos). Mine were not perfect but with a little TLC they have turned out alright.
