Edited to correct pre-coffee mistake. Crackstar steered my towards the fine Bulgarian creams a while back(thanks again Jeff!). I now have three: Nuka, Compass Ice, and now Rose of Bulgaria. All are way above their pay grade. I used the Rose of Bulgaria cream for the first time today. It was excellent. A small dollop and I had enough for 4-passes had I wanted to. The rose scent is clean and fresh. I could not detect the menthol though...no big deal. This is the third Bulgarian cream I have acquired (Compass Ice and Nuka). All have been superb!!!
I really like the Bulgarian products. I discovered wet shaving while I was living there. I also knew a young lady that worked in the Plovdiv factory that produces "Rose of Bulgaria". She arranged a tour of the facilities for me & I walked away with about 2 years worth of creams. They are extremely conscientious regarding quality control and consistency. Sort of a side note here, but did you know that Bulgaria produces almost of the rose oils that are used in perfumes?
I've only used one bulgarian cream and it was great, never heard a bad thing about any of them I thought Barbon was Hungarian ?
My bad.....same vendor, different Countries. My Barbon and Figaro are from Hungary. It was very early when I posted that.....
As I've said before - the Rose of Bulgaria cream is wonderful stuff as far as the lather and skincare are concerned. The scent is not to my liking, however.
