So as most know I live RURAL hehehe like in the Backwoods of North Idaho Sometimes around last Sept we dropped our Hughesnet whiuch we had used for over 10 years.. Hughesnet is very reliable but VERY slow and VERY limited, no streaming, barely able to watch Youtube without buffering. We had a Local company "Interwave" come out and do a site test, we switched to them and OMG everything started working. we had real speed and reliability so much so we moved into the 21st century at least to about 2010 tech LOL We had streaming we dropped our Landline life was pretty good for 5 months Then we get an e-mail that says "so sorry AT&T dropped our contract and we can no longer offer service as of Jan 16th I finally bit the $$$ Bullet and ordered Starlink after 2 months of waiting it finally arrived yesterday Easy peasy set up that allowed me to use my old Hughesnet names and Passwords which we had used for the Inrewave setup also It was a long wait, and fairly costly in comparison to both Hughesnet and Interwave but so far the speed isn't even in the same realm Hughes was maybe on a good day 10mb download and 1mb Interwave clocked at around 20mb down and 2mb up first test with Starlink was 97mb down and 15mb up for rural system this is crazy fast Anyway you will once again see me on here like before
