I have had purchased several pucks of St Charles soap. It was okay but definitely not outstanding. Personally I think TSD soap is much better and a better lathering. I have been using a puck of TSD Sweet Tea, love how it lathers, nice slick soap too.
The folks are top notch and the scents are outstanding. I enjoy the soaps but cannot stand the creams. I own several of their soaps, AS's, ASB's, and colognes.
