  4. My first Sandalwood was the Wet Shaving Products offering. What attracted me was Lee's description of it "More manly than other types of Sandalwood". (Well, words to that effect).

  5. ToBS sandalwood is sweeter to my nose Proraso Red, both awesome. Geo F. Trumper, Truefitt & Hill along the same as Proraso Red, but slightly subdued. WSP is definitely not sweet, opposite in fact, as Paul mentions, quite manly outdoorsy aroma. To my nose, it was prominent freshly cut sandalwood, sandalwood sawdust thrown in too. I also have Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements Supreme Sandalwood Science, which is a mix....a little sweet like ToBS/Proraso, but very forward fresh cut sandalwood aroma also.

  10. I assumed since you were using Proraso Red you tried their sandlewood aftershave. The scent is a little lighter than Sterling or others, but it's my favorite and my primary AS splash..

  11. My favourite sandalwood is Trumpers. Can't get enough of it.

So I guess I prefer my sandalwood sweet.

Sniffed AoS and WSP and they aren't for me.
