The QED website REALLY sucks, but Charles has been good to order from...once you get past that. Sometimes, you have to email him to find out if he carries something. Payment is an adventure too. But he's responsive and quick to ship. Have only ordered from him 2-3 times, but other than the above, it went well.
Discussion moved from reviews. There seemed to be some interest in discussing these brushes so I moved it to "The Brush" so more could participate.
Hey, I am ! Thanks for joining us Just wondering...... I know there were at least 2 versions of the SR brushes. Were they both Shavemacs ??
hello i've heard from a few sources that the SR brushes are made by shavemac what i am absolutely sure about is that the handles are exactly the same
Last week I received a SR 3320 from Charles. It's really a nice little brush. I've used with soaps and creams and find it to work nicely with both. And, the best part for me, it hasn't bloomed but slightly. A fine brush. It has satisfied my SBAD for a while.
+1 It's been suggested that Charles' service level is inversely proportional to his website's user-friendliness...:happy102
After hearing so much praise of the Saville Row brushes I finally broke down and ordered a Saville Row 3322 this afternoon. I am looking forward to seeing how they compare to Simpson and Shavemac. :shocked003
