    Hey All,
Sorry that I haven't been around much lately, work and all.
Though I'd share the pattern for the latest scale project that I've got on the bench.
This set of scales is for an old Masonic Wade & Butcher.

    enjoy.

Very intricate. What material are you going to use?

I can't wait to see them.

Well, as a Mason, I must say you're doing a fine job with these. All the emblems are well done. I"ll look forward to seeing the finished product.

Beautiful so far. I was just showing this thread to my coworker earlier today, guess I'll have to show it to him again tomorrow.

What are you using to make such intricate cuts?

It's all hand work using a jewellers saw and 7/0 blades.

That makes it all the more amazing. That kind of detail would've made me think you're using some sort of water or plasma cutter machine. Hand work?? You've got some solid skills there, sir!

Now you've got me thinking what a nice set of scales for my Wade & Butcher might look like using a classical guitar motiff. :signs002

Here's a bit of an update for the end of the week.
    Ya'll have a good weekend.

    hmmm....classical guitars.....hmmmm...very interesting..:D

btw...the holes that you can see in the reverse side of the scale are the starter holes for the sawblade to be able to cut those parts out.
