Schick Injector II for which razors?

This is probably an obvious question to many but, I have never seen the Schick Injector II blades myself.

It appears my Schick Grip with the Tennis raquette handle was meant to be used with the Schick Injector II blades. It does work with the Chinese Schick Injector blades so, that got me thinking about the older E and G Schick razors.

Do the Schick Injector II blades work in the older razors? Do they work better or worse than the single-blade Chinese Schick blades? I'm looking at an order overseas so, I was going to throw one of Schick Injector II blade packs in with my order and started to wonder if 2 or 3 would be a good idea. I don't want to overstock on these blades if the only thing they fit is my Schick Grip or if they aren't any better than the cheaper more common Chines Schick blades.

    TIA,
    Sid

To be safe I believe they work from L type and up to the O type. They work in my L type no problem as you know already know. Some fellows will get them in the older ones but they where not designed for those razors and could damage the spring in the E & G types.

Any vintage injector razor designed 72 or 73 and up were designed for twin injector blades. Those included Schick Type L and M injectors made after 72 or 73, Type N and O injectors. Gillette Twinjectors, Personna floating head injector razors, Filomatic F2 injectors, Feather injectors made after 72 or 73. With that said some earlier Schick and Pal injectors may also be able to load these blades but that is at your own peril. Modern injectors aren't designed for them either except for the now discontinued Type O clones which are a direct copy of the Schick Type O injector.

As far as Type L injectors goes the ones made from 72 or 73 and up are easy to figure out. Check the dummies guides for Type L injectors. They made Type L injectors with 3 iterations of Schick logos, the 2nd and 3rd iterations will all take twin blades. Type M the ones made 72 or 73 and up have a lever on the guard called the protector that locks the guard in a way that you can grab it without cutting your fingers when it has a blade loaded.
