I recently picked up a Schick injector Type A (1926) at an antique store. I decided to clean it up and restore it to it's near former glory. There were 7 blades in the cartridge. I also cleaned those up and soaked them in alcohol. Here is the before picture.

After a few hours of TLC and some elbow grease here is the after picture.

The mechanics on this razor are amazing.

That you have the magazine with it makes it even better. You can load new blades in that and try to load it as it was originally intended otherwise you need to load them using pliers or something similar.

The shave from that razor is awesome. I seem to have givin mine away at some point. It is not hard to hand load blades at all. Beautiful clean up too!
