dropped into a local 'antiques' shop and met a really interesting guy with connections to several of my ADs. I am very sad, really. BUT, he had a box full of razors he wasn't very interested in, so they are mine. Mine. MINE! Pictures will eventually appear, when I've sorted them all out.
I'm so jealous. I have hit every antique shop around a 30 mile hemisphere (the top half) that I have seen and have yet to run into a score yet, mainly poor shape and high priced stuff if I find any at all. But I'm happy for you! At least there are the few of us that can land in heaven from time to time. Great score too btw :happy096
Thats a score. Scrubbing Bubbles, Maas metal cleaner and a Dremel will clean up the chrome razors to shine like new. Don't do the same to the gold razors , I think only a scrub with dish liquid wil insure you don't destroy the gold tone, be careful with those. You can flatten that strop with weight on it or hanging from it. Saddle soap and neatsfoot oil will clean and condition it. It will come in handy when you get your straight razor in about six months.
