SE Blade Rust

    Hi, guys:

    I've noticed that I am getting blade rust on both sides of the blade under the blade guard on my Gem razor. This happens with both stainless and carbon steel blades. There's no rust on any exposed surface of the blade, but I've been changing blades anyway just for safety's sake.

    Should I be worried about this rust?

    I alway drop my razor in a jar of 91% alcohol to rinse it off. Then I shake it off and put it away. So far, no rust.

    I pat my blade dry and wipe the interior of the SE before I put it back. Olive oil or some other non petroleum oil will help too.
