I received my 2015 last night :happy036. The brush looks great and feels great in the hands. The build quality is very good & the oak handle looks great too. There was a moth gonad like funk on the bristles that immediately apparent. I lathered 3 times on Ems Balanced & 3 times on Proraso and that seemed to do the trick. However, there was still a whiff coming off it this morning, although nowhere near as strong. I am sure this will be gone here shortly. So far so good. I really like what I have seen so far.
hi fozz77 yes thats one think i noticed a bit of a whiff, i washed mine in baby shampoo then baby coditioner and it help,d it will go in time but the quality is well worth puting up with a little whiff happy shaving.
Hi Selhov, yes, there is no doubting the quality. I have shaved 3 times with it now & lathered probably 12 times & the smell has gone.
hi fozz77 pleased to hear the whiff has gone its dificult not to purches more than one style of theas great quality brushes im so pleased to the guys at TSD.for puting me on to the semouge brushes happy shaving.
Its true Selhov. Teiste & Truckman have convinced me, through there treads, comments & review, to go for a Semogue boar. I have to wait for SWMBO to settle down a bit first
