Smooth sailing with this one as expected. I really like this razor with the navy handle and silver scheme. It shaves quite well, too! Enjoy your day.

Tabac Tuesday's Shave Cold Water Wash Tabac Shave Soap Alpha T-400 Silvertip Badger Supply Provision Schick Proline B20 CWR Tabac AS My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Tabac Shave Soap face lathered well with the Alpha T-400 Silvertip Badger brush. I did two passes with the Supply Provision Safety Razor with a Schick Proline B20 blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Razor: Alumigoose w/ iKon Bamboo Handle Blade: Feather Professional Brush: El Druida Mopane 2 Band Badger. Soap: Stirling Eucalyptus Mint A/S: Stirling Eucalyptus Mint One more 2 pass shave with the slightest of clean up for a near BBS. I really like the iKon Bamboo handle. It is very easy to grip and has good weight for lighter heads like an alumigoose. This brush is a beauty. Colophospermum mopane, commonly called mopane, mophane, mopani, balsam tree, butterfly tree, and turpentine tree. It is a tree that grows in hot, dry, low-lying areas, 200 to 1,150 metres (600 to 3,770ft) in elevation, in the northern parts of South Africa. The tree only occurs in Africa and is the only species in genus Colophospermum. It's distinctive butterfly-shaped leaf and thin seed pod make it easy to identify.

It really is breaking in very well. I really am enjoying this brush. When does your new brush arrive?
You enablers are killing me! I ended up buying one today too. Apparently there are not two versions of it, it just looks like Maggard has it mispriced like it’s a two band badger. To confuse the issue some people are calling it an SOC, some a Mistura and some a Calabra. Apparently, it’s all the same dang thing.
We aim to please. It really is a very nice brush. Looking forward to seeing what you think of the brush. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
SEptembr 18, 2018 You can never go wrong with the SS General. A bit more blade feel than it’s Brass brother, which in turn gives it a more efficient shaving window. Trade off? Not as smooth and silky as the Brass General. But, it’s a trade off that many don’t mind having once in a while. I agree.....
SOTD September 19, 2018 A Stirling SEptember Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap Blade: GEM PTFE Razor: Superior Lather Catcher Brush: Ever Ready 100T restored badger Soap: Stirling Sandpiper Post: Witch hazel, Stirling Sandpiper aftershave Enjoyable shave with the Superior Lather Catcher. This razor is fairly mild and shaves right along with GEM razors like a Featherweight or Pushbutton. Efficient and easy to use. Just watch angle and pressure like everything else and you are rewarded with positive results. Have a great day!
