    Cremo doesn't lather. At all.

You've gotten some good suggestions. I'd add Kiss my Face Cool Mint shave cream. For a lather bowl, it's hard to beat the Captain's Choice bowls.

Proraso green is a reasonable soap if you like a cool menthol feel. I usually use it only in the summer months.

Make a super lather with the Cremo and one of your other creams or soaps. I use Cremo Cool with modern William's. It reminds me of Vintage Menthol William's.
