What are some soaps that come in wide containers tins/tubs in the 3.5"-4" diameter range . From what I've seen the ones I can spot are: Stirling Mikes Naturals Wickham Possibly B&M Can anyone provide measurements for the soap containers? I know the Stirling tubs come in at 3.7"ID and 4"OD and the medium shave tins(which I love for loading soap) are also 4" OD. I'm thinking about re-homing some of my soap into containers that would allow for easier loading. Does anyone have any sources for wide short containers(4"x 3/4-1") ?
You can get free TOBS tubs from the TSD store with an order. The TSD brand tubs are large size, you can lather in the tub.
Yup. I personally thought the TSD tubs were a bit too large for my liking. I get the refill size (no tub) and melt it in a small glass bowl.
Don't know the dimensions but the Reef Point soap I used this morning was a nice size. Similar to a Stirling container. Can't remember the maker but what about those Synergy containers?? They were enormous!
B&M does have a 4 inch container - however they have two series of soaps. The Latha series is in a smaller 3 1/2 inch container. I also use a 1 cup size Pyrex container with lid for individual pucks. It is 4 inches across and works quite well.
Actually did NOT care for the original HTGAM extra wide tin. I ended up grating the soap into a smaller container, then, ended up using it in the shower.
I bought these 4" 8oz tins on Amazon and re-homed some of my favorite soaps. A little bit of heat from my wife's blow dryer and the labels came off pretty easy. The Blades Grim soap was dry and crumbly so I rehrdrated it a little with some hot water. Most of the soaps were soft enough to scoop out with a spoon, but I had to grate the WTP and the Blades Grim soaps.
