shave stand (late 1800s)

    I stopped by a local antique mall, looking for a find. Nothing I was looking for, but saw this:

    I didn't pick it up, but is is supposedly late 1800s and real silver. Personally, I think it might have once had an additional holder for the razor... but who knows?

    Oh!... If you can't quite see it, that price tag says $115.00.

    If it solid silver, it has more than $115 in silver in it.

    Neat little piece, and a great price if its indeed either sterling or coin silver.
