Hmmmm, I dunno Matt, I imagine it is pretty close to neutral. My worry would be all the shaking I do after I run. I'm pretty spent most of the time and I tend to be pretty feeble until I recuperate. That's just me though.
I shave before my running just cause I don't like MWO type boots in my rear-end. Never bothered me really I just don't use aftershave because it's pointless IMO until I get back and shower.
Sweat cleans out your pores, so I can't imagine it would hurt. Now if you were to try shaving while running...
Well I can get kinda sweaty after a good aggressive and purposeful walk and I think it's better to wash off before the shave..
So long as you shower then shave after running, it works great. I really like a heavily mentholated shave cream for after run shaves. The cool feeling from something like TSD Iced Peppermint Wheat Cream feels wonderful after a hot run.
I would think that it would be the same as shaving after you workout at a YMCA. Do you ever see anyone shaving there before they work out. It's workout, steam, shower, shave. Brings me back to the early 60's when I work there in the locker room after school. Yes, it was a strange time.
I shave after running/gym and a shower. I find it works rather well as my hair is nice and soft from sweating for an hour or two.
Never tried, and I do run once or twice a week. I would think your skin would be more sensitive since your pores are all opened up, and it would be easier to get irritated.
